In this edition of the ANW, the focus is on the rollout of the new ICAO provisions related to ATFM envisaged to be applicable in November 2030. These provisions mark a decisive shift: ATFM is no longer optional but an operational necessity for all States, air navigation services providers (ANSPs) and airspace users. The sessions will offer concrete, practical guidance to support timely implementation, while exploring key enablers such as flight and flow information for a collaborative environment (FF-ICE), information management and sharing, civil-military cooperation and flexible use of airspace, free route airspace, contingency management, airport collaborative decision making (A-CDM), Project 30/10), among others-critical components for a modern, performance-driven air traffic management (ATM) system.
