The Eleventh Session of the Statistics Division (STA/11) will be held from 4 to 8 April 2022. This Division, building upon the success of the Third meeting of Aviation Data and Analysis Panel (ADAP/3) held in 2021, will consider the Panel’s recommendations on data quality and reporting, collaboration with the United Nations (UN) and other international organizations, big data analysis, Aviation Satellite Account framework, post-COVID-19 traffic forecasts scenarios, forecasts of licensed aviation personnel, and global aviation competitiveness index.

The Division will be open to all Member States. Attendance by Senior Experts in statistics, data and economic analysis in a decision-making capacity, is desirable to achieve the stated outcomes of the Division. Representatives from non-Member States and international organizations, as invited by the Council, may participate in the meeting with observer status. Given the uncertainties surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and associated travel restrictions, the Conference will be held in a virtual setting.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is a Specialized Agency of the United Nations. Therefore, Zoom is permitted to allow the unrestricted use of its platform by ICAO for its statutory / intergovernmental / official meetings with all its Member States (including restricted countries : https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/203806119-Restricted-countries-or-regions). In practice, official ICAO Zoom meetings and webinars are available to all Members States, without any restriction from Zoom or ICAO.
