The 2026 ICAO Aviation Climate Week offers the opportunity to learn the latest developments in all aviation environmental topics, including the outcomes of the 42nd Session of the Assembly, and the advent of the ICAO ACT-LTAG programme, as we move towards achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The event will also allow the monitoring of further progress on the ICAO Global Framework for SAF, LCAF and other Aviation Cleaner Energies adopted at CAAF/3, including the collective global aspirational Vision to reduce CO2 emissions in international aviation by 5 per cent by 2030. The LTAG Stocktaking on the emissions reductions from the latest technologies, advanced operations and aviation fuels, while showcasing the latest on implementation support and financing for aviation decarbonization measures, will all form part of the event.
